UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE NOW!

Now is the time for all good people to come to the aid of their country.  The health of our nation literally depends on it.

Congress is taking the month of August off.  We can't, because the anti-health care propaganda will be in full swing to block meaningful health care reform.  Calling and emailing are good, but we need to do more.  We need to do something tangible like postcards and faxes.  Yes, postcards, because letters get held up for inspection.

Take action now:

1.  Get the addresses and phone numbers of your U.S. Representative and your two U.S. Senators.

2.  Hand write "Universal Health Care Now!" on a postcard for each one (unlined 3x5 index cards work great), sign, address (including your return address), and mail ($.28 each for postage).

3.  Hand write "Universal Health Care Now!" on a sheet of paper, sign, and fax (their local office should be a local call).

4.  Repeat weekly.

5.  Encourage others to do the same.

and President Obama. 

You can also mail and fax to both their D.C. offices and local offices.

Let's flood our Senate and Representative offices with the voices of the people starting August 1st, and continuing until we win.  It's the only way we can compete with the Millions of dollars coming from the lobbyist representing the insurance companies, corporate medical firms and "big pharma."

Please, continue your calls and emails while mailing and faxing.  Most important, pass the word to your family and friends.  Let's bury them in cards and faxes from the majority, and get Universal Health Care Now.
